How do I turn off that fade in effect in winamp whenever I click on a new song? Can't find it in the preferences...

press CTRL+P
then under plugins click "output"
then double-click "direct sound output"
then the "fading" tab
there are like 5 or 6 options (for example "on seek" or "on pause")

I think that's what you're talking about... I haven't tested it myself
