ARTIST BIO:
Jay Tripwire has definitely earned his place among the dance music community and his hard work is not going unrecognized, Jay’s Djing schedule has exploded, and he has had the opportunity to play in some of the places that were once just a dream. Growing up in the heart of downtown Vancouver, Canada, Jay is no stranger to the grit of urban parties. His great sense of musical curiosity and his sly mischievous character, has lead him to his present life as a DJ/Producer.
Currently, Jay is very busy producing in the studio, signing 1 or 2 releases a month, and has had the opportunity to do a lot of remixes. His music has been picked up by some of the most respected labels and thus, Jay has appeared on charts and top 10's from the most well regarded names in the industry.
Recently, Jay's music has been getting numerous reviews in, and attention from, such magazines as DJ MAG, MUZIK, URB, IDJ, MIXER, XLR8R and VICE and has been licensed to many mix cd compilations. Jay Tripwire continues his aim to expose listeners to quality music through DJ’ing and producing. He is presently building and molding his own brainchild, the label “NORTHERN LIGHTS,” which is the headquarters for the sound he knows best.
Jay’s latest endeavors include a very hectic dj schedule and the start of a new label called SPACED OUT.
