Question Pioneer Car Cd Player Question

Hello,

I have had my Pioneer DEH-P3300 cd player for not even a year now. All I play in it are burned cd's. The problem is now that some of them play with no problem, and then others skip with any sudden bump in the road. Does anyone know what makes this happen...or what cd's are better to be used in car stereo's then others? I remember reading somewhere that it makes a difference what the color is on the top of the cd?..but don't remember.

Does anyone have any info on this?

Thanks,
Steve

Hey man,

Thanks for your help, but I was wondering if anyone knew about what recordable cd's are the best for car stereos...ie, which are the easiest for them to read? I think that my stereo is damn good...it's a $300+ system...very powerful...and hasn't skipped a beat until lately, and it's only on certain cd's. Most play fine...

It also has xm technology, I can't wait for that to be available in new york.

Peace,
Steve

wow, i wouldn't go so far to say that! everyone has there own opinion remember...

viceroy, i have the pioneer 7300 and i use bluish-silvery bottom cd's and it works like a charm. every company has a different laser and some colours reflect better than others. i've never bought any but supposedly black bottoms are really good, they reflect really well and more importantly, even if they're scratched to shit they still play!

i'll see if i can find more info on your deck and get back to you...
