Jester eJay Techno vs. Magix Techno Maker - Which is better?

I've been looking around for a prog to make some
trance/techno in, and so far the 2 cheapest ones
I've come across are:

Techno ejay ($30)
and
Magix Techno Maker ($20)

Does anyone know which one is better or
easier to use?

I'm a complete novice at music creation, so I dunno
which one would be more suited. I also don't know
if this is something I will stick with, which is why
I picked the cheapest I could find in case I lose
interest.

The ejay one seems more expensive, but has more samples
(3000 i think), while the magix one is cheaper and has only
around 700 samples.

Aside from that, i dont know what the differences are!

Can someone give some reviews/comments on which I should
get? thanks!

Get neither and instead play around with (for all i care shareware versions of) software with which you can actually CREATE music (cooledit, rebirth, reason, fruity loops)

Both programs are for 10 year olds.. they're a TOY!
Get a demo or a cracked version of a program such as Fruity Loops or Reason.. and see if you like it, if you do then get a full version and start making real music

but arent those other programs (fruity loops, etc.) much harder
to use for a novice though?

I remember playing around with some fruity loops demo and
I had no idea what was going on!

are you guys saying even for a complete beginner, fruity loop
type progs would be better?

Yep, that's exactly what we're saying.
It's a little hard at the beginning, but after some practice you get the hang of it and then you can make real Trance.
