Three Drives - Carrera 2: Vandit sleeve color?

Why is the color of my record sleeve blue, when every image I can find has it as red?

I feel like this has been answered before, but haven't been able to find anything after some serious searching.

As i remember Vandit went through a stage of using the red covers, but only on 4 releases -

Three Drives - Carrera 2
Revolution 9 - The Weapon
Ghostland - Guide Me God Disc 1 & 2

The red ones where only used for the first presses or when they run out of them, so the reason you can only get blue ones now is that they are 2nd or 3rd presses, you will have to buy them second hand if you want the red ones

yes all the first presses are red, and the second presses are blue. I think they just ran out of blue covers or something & had to use red ones while they were waiting to get some more in They used white for Aalto - Rush.

The blue is getting pretty boring imo, they should change it about more often.

All the early blue and red releases also had "VANDIT" pressed onto the bottom of the sleeve, which made them abit diferent but stopped doing that in the last 2 years, probably to save money!!!

Yeah, I liked the embossed VANDIT on the earlier sleeves. Would be nice if they still had it.

Perhaps it says something that Vandit has decided to ratchet up releases at the expense of production quality and sleeve embossing.
