*Sigh, Maybe this will help you guys out.
Depending on how well you know your computers and what you should be running, you can easily remove spyware.
1.The first step here is to uninstall the toolbar via the Add/Remove Programs option in the Control Panel. If you dont know what one its called, dont ask me, just scroll through the list until you see something akin to: "Money Saver Toolabar v1.2". Simply doing this rarely uninstalls the program. It just ensures that a program exists in your files to recreate the adware when you reboot your pc.
2.Go to Start > Run> and Enter regedit
3.Open the Subdirectory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
4.Open subdirectory: Software
5.Open subdirectory: Microsoft
6.Open subdirectory: Windows
7.Open Subdirectory: Current Version
8.View the Contenets of the files 'run', 'runonce' and 'runonceex' These files are all executed when you turn your computer on. If you dont recognize any files, try typing them into google (format: filename.extension). Often it will bring you to LIUtilities, a company which keeps an extensive list on spyware/adware/virus files (http://www.liutilities.com/) and will tell you whether or not the file is spyware. It may take you to other similar sites as well, detaling the same information.
9.Delete all spyware/adware/virus keys, noting the location of each executable.
10. Reboot your PC.
11. Manually delete the offending executables.
There you have it. Manually removing ad-ware, via the registry. This is only a suggestion. I accept no responsibility if you wrongly edit your registry. Id also appreciate a double-checking of my list by someone who knows what theyre doing.
