i took a good 5 years of japanese through out my schooling hehehe...its pretty easy to pick up
i also have some of the same cds for spanish and german (because different people in the family were taking those languages)...so i guess i could possibly try and take those someday, but i wanted to learn french first.

Nom de Dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperie de connard d'enculé de ta mère!
I took like 6 years of French in highschool, learned alot. I doubt u can learn a language with CDs and stuff, at least it wouldn't work for me, u need to talk to ppl in order to learn.
Maybe u'll prove me wrong

frankly, yeah. those tapes dont cover much. Its basics. Theyre vocabulary cover that of a third graders and they dont cover slang.
ive never met one person who's ACTUALLY learned a language from a tape or even a classroom. To learn like that, you have to have absolute discipline.
as always, the best way to learn a language is the old fashioned way, by living in the country for a few years. Its forced learning, youll have no choice but to learn. and you'll learn faster too.
