Has anyone owned or used either of these synths? I really need some sugestions on which one to go for as I have a choice between the two.

I have listend to about 4 trance demo mp3's of the JP and they rock !!

I own both the Jp-8080 and the Supernova (wich is very similar to Nova II) and i think that nothing beats the JP-8080 for that nice Supersaw sound but the Supernova kicks the JP-8080´s as when it gets down to pads and strings.. They are both good at basses but the supernova is better at making leads that the JP cannot.. However the supernova is not a very agressive synth. Allmost all the sounds that comes out of it sounds very friendly and nice

Hey ErikC, what kind of trance are you making right now?

Any chance of me hearing a sample of your productions?
