i had a fun night overall... sasha was definitely doing a lot of experimenting. it took him a little while to warm up, about half hour, but he was playing really really dark, hard progressive for a lot of the night. he had the crowd worked into a frenzy during those points. it was definitely unlike anything i've heard sasha play the times that i've seen him. for the third hour, i was getting a little bored, thought that sasha's experimenting went awry, but he picked it up again from about 5 til the end (around 7 am). sasha has never ceased to amaze me, his mixing is flawless, flow is just amazing. always a wonderful act when he's in town. as for tracklisting... well i'll let the pros on the board handle it

I agree with you. Now that I know he picked it up from 5 to 7, I feel bad I left. I was getting too tired to stick it through. I went upstairs and looked down at the dj booth and I could see his computer and ableton Overall I would say it was a good night, but I liked sasha better at bpm and the last time he came through.

I liked the new setup Crobar had for Sasha.

It was great seeing everyone and listening to a great set by Sasha. I kept hoping for some classics through the night but Sasha didn't spin any of his own tunes

Nikola Gala's Swing to Harmony was a highlight of the night for sure. Another highlight was when Sasha played Schiller- Ruhe. The whole crowd was jumping up and down. Guess we're lucky to have Sasha in the City so often

Good but not great night for me. I liked the change in the DJ booth too. I only stayed until 5 so I guess I missed out.

It was too experimental for me at times. That's why I say it's hit or miss.

Sasha used to stand there like a statue but he's was moving a bit last night. I liked it.

I love the music but it would be nice if there was some more hotties there...

Yeah he hasn't been to the D.C. area for more than 2 years now. When I went see him at Buzz durting 2002 it was very terrible set.. I heard he was having a really bad night.

wow, only 10 responses so far. i could have sworn the place was packed...but great night. great music. gotta love it when sasha gets all experimental. not made for the masses, but quality stuff as only the best can produce. and the abelton definitely a good addition.

and his choice of drink: vitaminwater :-)
