Record Holes

I have some records that grab the spindle very tighly however I have other which are much more 'loose'.

Any idea how to ' pop the cherry' of those records with tight holes.

Just keep pretending the record is jumping up and down on the TT's... penis

Although with a 'sloppy' hole I havent got a clue

But seriously I want my records to all have the 'loose' feel to them. Any suggestions on how to acheive this

haha, use some tissue on loose ones, and ream out the tight ones with a pen I guess, or whatever tickles you.

take some scissors, and use one end to hone it. Do it lightly!!! to tighten the holes, take some small sticky white labels, and place one through the hole halfway, and press it down on either side...works beautifully.

Be Cool!

I had a few records that were pretty tight, and I just lightly scraped the hole with a knife, but don't scrape to hard or it will be too loose.

i think sticking a pen in thats just a bit too large will do the trick too, vinyl is pretty soft. but yeah, either way once you keep hammering the virgin hole for a while they do loosen up naturally
