This has been done. Cue leds, split cue, kill switches in different position, kill switches are positioned better, pcv275 doesnt show its age as much as the 175 (its paint rubs off)

Worth the extra money.

Vestax PCV-175 (Usually $300 new)

60mm faders for the more sensitive control needed in techno/trance mixing. 3-band EQ with high, mid, and low level control together with trim is provided for each channel, and EQ range has been upgraded to -24dB cut and +6dB boost, and -24dB "kill" switches added. Each input channel now features an effects send switch, with send and return levels in the master section. Other features include PFL switch, load indicators for inputs, 4 mic input levels, 10-segment LED for level, and detachable crossfader.

Vestax PCV-275 (Usually $500 new)

3 phono inputs, 6 line inputs, and 2 mic inputs. 3 primary channels, plus a mic channel. Nifty features include 3-band isolator kill switch for each frequency range for quick EQ modification, a pre/post selectable aux send, dedicated aux return level control knob (aux signal can be monitored by headphone when return cue button is selected), and a cue meter for visually monitoring cue level. Provides stereo master RCA outs and record RCA outs.
