motu rackmounts are soundcards. just with external breakout boxes. you can play videogames through them although you wont get those EAX effects thingys because thats a technology creative made for use with soundblaster audigy. i dont really care about though.

You can always use multiple sounds cards if you'd like. Buy an Audigy for games and a "pro" card for production. Though, I guess that depends on how much money you have to play with.
