Jan Johnston: Emerging & New Euphoria Album?
Can anyone give me info on an album that was supposed to be released by Jan Johnston years ago but never saw the light of day? The title was Emerging. Also, I've been hearing rumors of a new Euphoria album being released by Judge Jules. Anyone have any information on this? If so, what is the tracklist?

emerging was never released due to the fact that oakey was a wanker and interfered with shit, she is now signed to vandit (afaik) and any album that she releases will not contain any of the tracks that was released from when she was on perfecto

A new Euphoria album wasn't released that long ago. Probably and of August.
I have to say I hope you are wrong with Judge Jules, I thought we were in the clear once they got rid of Dangerous Dave Pearce and got Ferry Corsten in. Anyone else notice that Euphoria is now part of Ministry of Sound recordings, I hope those behing the regular MoS stuff don't get involved with Euphoria

Don't know if it was down to oakey - can you elaborate on this?
Yeh but - some of the singles from the album were released on perfecto (silent words etc) but the album never saw the light of day. Not to sure why it never saw an offical release cause a number of promos were floating round at the time!

I thought Dave Pearce did a good job on the Euphoria albums.

I dont think PvD wants to work with her anymore, so she will have to find another producer

i can't remember completely but what i know is that she left because of oakey and that she is angry at him because he (i think) treated her like shit.

He did OK, I was glad he stopped doing them though. When the albums were in their first few releases it was devoid of commercial stuff and it did creep in a little with Dave Pearce. Some of this worse track selections:
Milky -Just The Way You Are (Ibiza Euphoria 2002)
X-Press 2 - Lazy (Absolute Euphoria)
DJ Shredda - Chainsaw (Absolute Euphoria)
666 - D.E.V.I.L. (Transcendental Euphoria)
Phatt B - And Da Drum Machine (Transcendental Euphoria)
Gabrielle - Rise (Transcendental Euphoria)
Those are the ones I remember.
Bring back PF Project and Red Jerry!

Bring back Matt Darey on the next Euphoria album...Ibiza Euphoria 1 and Euphoria level 4 we're the best comercial trance compilation Cd's ever! As for Jan Johnston's album Emerging...thanks for the details...hopefully I can find an old advanced promo of the original album somewhere. I have to agree in that I'm not to found of her newer material..especially the tracks on the PVD album! I believe she has a few new tracks coming out though...Transparent and Asteroid. I forget the new producer's name she is working with but I I think he is based out in Cali. She has the perfect voice for trance..very hypnotic, just needs the right production.
