Awesome to see you and Jen again Alex.James glad i happened to recognize you in the crowd and hang with you for a bit.Okay now for the show itself had a really nice intimate good vibe, the opening dj K swing from New York played a very banging set and i was rather impressed with her performance around midnight the boys came on and started with Their track from the man on fire soundtrack "The Drop " and had a drink toast at the booth with the fans up there and then preceeded to play one of the dirtiest sets that i have heard them play.Just an awesome night over all.Oh Alex sorry my friends kept asking if you were Frank from Infusion. We must all hang again.
Standout tracks from the night:
Lee Coombs vs. the frog-lick the frog
New Order-crystal(lee coombs 2004 remix)
Forme-Let it all out
Orbital-One perfect sunrise(stereo 8 mix)
Unkle- Glow(hybrid mix)
Hybrid- the drop
Hybrid- In good we trust
Deep Dish- flashdance(possibly meat katie mix)
Goldie- inner city life was just blooody amazing, played at such a perfect time(had to love everybody singing along in front of booth).
and of course the chemical bros . song that i never ever expected to hear.

It was an amazing time last night. The set they played last night was much better than the one at Icon a while back. Even after working a 12 hour day yesterday, they kept me going all night. The crowd was great too. Lots of people. Only problems were the the blown speaker I was next to, I blame that on Zinc Bar , and that no one said hey to me. I will have to catch you guys at the next event.

Hybrid was a good show for the price
they definately DJ'd this time, i havent seen them in years so it was a different style than i expected. only tracks i recognized was flashdance and traffik - your light. to be honest i like the old Wide Angle style better but it was still good.
the highlight for me was actually when that girl DJ dropped the Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 remix, what a tune!!
anyway, props to Dan for spotting me, the only other TA i had seen prior was Myles.
- James

oops... didnt get to make this show like i planned... due to some dumbass people who wanted to eat at my work and got sat in my section at 12am when we closed. but hopefully everyone that went had a great time. I heard the show was a fun one.. to bad about the blown speaker... but what do expect its ZINC... the owners dont give a rats ass on the up keep of their venues.. thats why they suck! oh well what ya gonna do... blown speaker is better than no speaker.

The show was teh hotness, great f'n music, but again a piss poor turnout, the club was half full and the fuckin show was FREE till 11:30. WTF? Anywho, the musical highlights have been noted in earlier posts. Inner city bootie was goosebump inducing, one of my all time favorite choons. K swing was putting me to sleep, but in her defense the booth was not set up for her to play when she got there, so she started late and was not in a good mood (neither was her management company ) I was supposed to minidisc the show but because nothing was set up for the show it was nixed. Sux, what a great set to have archived....On to Sander...
