every now and then, there's a club in long beach called the "monte carlo" i think that has decent event, other then that, all the good trance/techno/prog goes on in LA, giant @ avalon, or spundae/godskitchen @ henry fonda theatre, a few raves here and there, and a decent event at the mayan here and there. all these are easy to get into if you have a fake, but if you're over 21, it might be worth checking out tranceclub heaven, as they have started to become a driving force in bringing trance back to the mainstream
