most awe-inspiring -> Ocarina of Time (i remember the first time i fought the forest temple boss, i shit my pants with the visual of him riding a horse through that multi walled room)
most fun -> link to the past
hardest-> first gameboy game (forgot the name.. but back when i played it in 92, before the intarnet/Gamefaqs, i had to phone the 1900 hotline to finish 3 or 4 difficult spots)

Currently busy with Ocarina of Time (just bought a 2nd-hand N64 including OoT and Majora's Mask, which I haven't started yet), and it rocks
Used to have Link's Awakenings on the Gameboy, which was also very, very good, but I think I prefer OoT though.
LINK TO THE PAST!! I still find myself thinking about how great an experience that game was. Ocarina of time is in a close 2nd. Hardest? 2nd Zelda for NES. I don't think I even beat that one sadly :P
