First, do you have enough musical knowledge?
If you don't play all parts of the song in the same key, it will most likely sound horrible.
Use this page to make sure... Pick a key to the left, and click "Minor" in the Scale window. (Most trance tracks are in minor, but of course you CAN make them in Major as well).
You probably need more knowledge than this but still, this should help a lot of you didn't already know this.
