What do you think the best work from Armin is?

Definitely the older stuff like Communication and his Rising Star stuff. Also his remixes of Moogwai - Viola and VdM - Between 2 Fires are great. That's all I've got off the top of my head anyway...

What's the deal with communication anyway? A bog standard trance track with nothing at all to offer.

agreed. I am huge Armin fan... but I find his more recent stuff from 76, the Mushroom Therapy remix, etc. just hasn't stuck to me like Dust.Wav or the Sky Falls Down remix

With all the flak Armin gets on the boards these days, it's easy to forget that he was among the very best producers out there by the end of 2001. There was hardly a soul who didn't like Armin back then.
