Shushh Part 2 is about to take place on the Saturday 13th November @ The Venue, Long Eaton, Nottingham.
Once again we will have 3 rooms of dance music to suits all taste, from Funky house, Trance, Progressive and Techno.
In The Main Room (Room 1) we will be showcasing some of the best dj / producer talent who are making waves on the scene both in the UK and around the world.
Matt Hardwick
Matt starting making a name for him self when he was resident for Gatecrasher, now he has moved on to bigger things and his one of the most sort after trance djs in the UK.
Steve Helstrip AKA The Thrillseekers
Steve is one of the most successful and talented producers on the trance scene at the moment. His success came from fantastic tracks such as Synaesthesia and followed with tracks such as "Santa Cruz" from his alias "Rapid Eye".
John O'Callaghan
Ireland's John is hot property at the moment and its seems that everywhere you turn you see his name on either a remix or his own original production. John has just had his latest track "Mercury" signed to ASOT under his alias of "Mannix"; also look out for John's collaboration with Shushh's very own resident St John - "Mechanical Dreams".
John Wright
John Wright is one of the Midlands hottest up and coming talents. John has also recently started his new productions under the guise of 'Elixir'. John’s first track “Combustion” is now finished and as had interest from a wide audience when he aired it on his “Euphoric Horizons” show on Rise FM.
St John
St Johns track Mind Circles was snapped up by ASOT last year and was played by some the world’s biggest djs. John also been busy in the studio, now with 3 remixes and two tracks under his belt and several guest appearances on different radio shows such as Graham Gold and Riley & Durrant, plus many club nights from the UK to overseas places such as Slovenia and Ibiza.#
Danny M
Very well known about these parts with regular appearances at Passion, Hotdog to name a few, Danny is also well known for his massive cd give away, his sets are always uplifting and full of energy.
The bar (Room 2) is centre stage this time for the Shushh funky room.
Steve Kelley
2002 was a great year for Steve when he came runner up in the M8 Magazine DJ competition at Passion and has since secured gigs at some of the UK's top nights including Passion (Red Room), Blend in Derby, Godskitchen Future Funk Room. His gigs have also taken Steve as far as Italy.
St John b2b Yaz (Old Skool House & Funky Set)
Resident St John & Yaz go back to back playing an old skool classics and funky house, Both Yaz & St John used to play house music back in the early 90’s and was thier first love of the dance music and club culture.
Horris James
More known in the midlands and Milton Keynes for is harder sets, Horris has now set his sight more on the funky edge of dance music, making his debut funky set in the Mew’zik room at Hotdog he proved to him self plus the punters that his talent lies in his djing and he his versatile with his style.
Paul West
Making his name from his residency at S.O.S., Paul is guaranteed to play what the crowd wants to hear and his surely going to rock the joint.
Room 3 The Shushh “Battle of the Boards – Dj Comp”
Djs from 5-message boards will battle it out, each dj was voted by regular board members to represent their board. Since the start of the polls we have major interest as we search to find a dj to join the Shushh crew playing at future Shushh related events as THEIR NEW TITLE AS RESIDENT!! The dj’s in the Battle room range will be from experienced club djs to bedroom djs, so it will be interesting to see if there is any difference between their talents. Djs listed in no order!!

Andy Smith came joint second at the last minute with Macca, he as played at Baby Passions, and The Engine. We were not aiming to have another dj because we didn’t have the room. So Andy will be playing in Room 2 (Funky Room). STYLE : PROGRESSIVE ELECTRO HOUSE
THE DJS WILL TURN UP AT THE VENUE AT THE START OF THE NIGHT; ALL WILL CHOOSE A SET FROM THE HAT. ANY DJS NOT IN THE VENUE BY 10.30PM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!! ALL DJS WILL GET FREE ACCESS TO THE EVENT PLUS A FREE DRINK.
