Sean Miller
Over the past year, Sean Miller has gone from a relative unknown to the holder of a prestigious residency at hot new after-hours club Boa-Redux. Through that gig, he's quickly gained a loyal local following, strong enough that he's starting to be booked as a headliner rather than just an opener.

For years, the Guvernment's (132 Queens Quay East, 416-869-0045) Phazon sound system was generally held to be the best in town. But Boa-Redux is the new king of nightclub sound, using the naturally good acoustics of a former movie theatre and an insanely powerful Dynacord system.

I hope Sean goes places. He's an awesome deejay.

The bad side of that is we won't be able to see him as often as we are now!

He'll always stay loyal....i have his WORD. It's just a matter of time before he starts getting booked regularly for headliner gigs. Thats the bad news for us. The good news is, im sure he'll stay a monthly resident, and play 8+ hour sets every visit.

Took so little time for him to rise in the scene too. I remember opening night and a lot of people were complaining about the fact he 'plays too hard' for opening sets.

He didn't just come out of nowhere, though. I remember seeing his name on flyers for parties over 4 years ago.

Congrats to BOA.

I've been told this is well-deserved, though I have yet to hear for myself.

Uhh, no.

He hasn't owned a car for over 30 years. Where did you get that idea from? As a city councillor, he co-chaired the Toronto Cycling Committee for many years, spear-heading initiatives to create bike lanes along major Toronto streets, including Spadina...
