::GET THERE::
The best way to come to and leave from the  event is by public transport
All public transport passes the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station,
which is easily reachable by train from all over the country.
A shuttle bus will provide regular and continuous transport between the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station
and the event at Flanders Expo.
::ON THE VENUE::
IN GENERAL
At 18h30, ticket check and cloakroom will be opened.
Performances will start at 19:00 sharp, so be on time!
INFORMATION STAND
There is an information stand in Flanders Expo. Phone (only during the event) will be published soon.
CAPACITY OF THE 5 ROOMS
Each room can hold 5.000 visitors; once this limit has been reached,
the doors will be closed and people will only be able to get out, not in.
This means that not all visitors can come and watch one and the same artist at the same time.
CLOAKROOM
There will be a large cloakroom where you can leave all your valuable things.
First you buy your cloakroom ticket, and then you collect a hanger.
Put your jacket on the hanger and attach your cloakroom ticket to it.
Then go to the cloakroom section of which the character matches the one on your cloakroom ticket.
Here you can hand over your jacket for safekeeping.
MIND! During the festival you cannot return to the cloakroom unless you are leaving Flanders Expo.
HOTEL

FOOD AND DRINK VOUCHERS
You can buy these vouchers with Euro coins and banknotes,
and use them to obtain something to eat or to drink at the respective stands.
BANK COUNTER
2 cash bank counters (for BANCONTACT and MAESTRO) will be foreseen.
You can also use foreign credit cards (VISA).
TOILETS
This is something we attach great importance to.
Nothing is more annoying than having to queue for half an hour to finally
arrive at an obstructed toilet ready to overflow,
where you have to hold your breath to save your life.
Therefore, assures there are enough toilets,
with a team cleaning the toilets and replenishing them with all necessities,
such as toilet paper. (Mind: toilets are not free )
LOST OBJECTS
During the event
All lost objects are taken to the information stand.
If the object has been tagged with a name,
the owner is informed or the object - if not too big - is sent to his/her address.
Any objects that are not collected or that cannot be sent to the owner's home,
will be transferred to the Police of Gent.
You can always contact [email protected] for correct details.
After the event
All objects found after the event will be transferred to the Police of Gent.
PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO OR AUDIO RECORDINGS
Only disposable cameras will be allowed.
The organisation will be taking photographs and making audio and video recordings of the event.
By entering the festival venue, all visitors tacitly agree on any publication,
copying or use of these images.
::SAFETY::
SAFETY
Just as in previous years, we continue to invest in enhancing the visitors' comfort and safety.
MINIMUM AGE
In order to attend the event, visitors should be at least 16 years of age on November 13th.
This will be checked.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Public transport is a safe and smooth way to reach the event.
Before leaving, check www.b-rail.be.
We will assure a quick and continuous shuttle service going back and forth between
Gent-St.-Pieters railway station and Flanders Expo.

CAR PARKS
If you come by car and you are early,
you can be sure of a parking spot at the Flanders Expo grounds.
Just as in previous years, however, the number of parking spots there will be limited.
If all car parks around Flanders Expo are full, you can still leave your car at the alternative car park.
The necessary signposts will lead you to this car park.
BE EARLY
Don’t forget there will be queues & waiting periods.
Doors open at 18:30.
Make sure you reach the venue sufficiently early;
you don’t want to miss your favourite act!
SECURITY
A full team of security people is in charge of guaranteeing your safety during the event.
In order to let the event pass as smoothly as possible,
we advise all visitors to strictly respect any instructions given by the security staff or the hostesses.
The security staff's decisions are always final, in any situation.
ENTRANCE
Keep your tickets ready when arriving at the entrance.
The security staffs are entitled to deny access to the event to anyone holding a forged ticket.
Visitors with forged tickets will immediately be handed over to the police.
Don’t give forgers a chance and buy your ticket at the official presales addresses only.
BODY SEARCH/ID CHECKS
wants to offer its visitors a safe event.
Therefore, there will be a comprehensive body search/ID check before entering the actual festival zone.
PROHIBITED, AMONGST OTHERS
Sharp objects, dogs, glass, cans, bottles (glass + plastic),
professional AV-material (audio, video, film), non-disposable cameras,
pocket and other knives, drinking cups (neither in nor out),
drink cans, drugs, guns or other dangerous objects.
The security staff can deny access to the event to anyone carrying
any of these prohibited items and dangerous objects,
even if this person is in possession of a valid ticket.
ZERO TOLERANCE AGAINST DRUGS
Say no to drugs! is a high quality music event.
So get high on this great music,
allow yourself to be swept away by the best artists & DJs,
and leave any drugs at home!
Both the police force & the office of the public prosecutor will
pursue a 'zero tolerance' policy regarding drugs.
Any visitors carrying drugs will be pulled in by the police officers
and automatically handed over to the office of the public prosecutor.
DE DRUGLIJN
De Druglijn is an information service you can phone -anonymously!
if you have any questions on or problems with alcohol or other drugs.
You can reach them at 078 15 10 20 on weekdays from 12.00 till 9.00 pm,
on Saturdays from 3.00 pm till 9.00 pm.
The drugs line aims at supplying information that is as objective as possible.
Approximately 30% of all 10.000 calls they receive each year, concern party drugs:
the cases of misconception and ignorance are countless.

RED CROSS / FIRST AID
Teams of the Red Cross and the Gent MUG Team will be continuously present at the event.
This extensive medical unit is available to any visitor
who might become unwell or think he/she needs medical care.
FREE WATER
Just as last year, free water will be available.
DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE
If you want to go crazy, come to the event by public transport
or look for a place to stay the night in Gent.

we recommend looking for a hotel near the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station.
We will assure a regular and continuous shuttle service to Flanders Expo,
leaving at the railway station.
