Exclamation John Wright pres. Elixir – Midnight Inspiration [Final Sample]

Well, thank you to everyone for their opinions on the original version of my second production. I got some great ideas which I’ve used and it looks like this is going to be the final version.

As per previous suggestions, I have added another sub-bass, emphasised the percussion, changed the sound of the main synth and just given the meat of the tune a bit more variation and a few other twists and more of a sweeping epic atmosphere.

It’d be great to see what you think. Please click the link below to take a listen or right-click and ‘save target as …’

Thanks!

hey man you've got some real good vibe going in this one. Very nice melodies aswell. the percussions is nice and full imo aswell. that's for the good points.

if you want to keep it as your final version ok, otherwise here's some little things you might want to tweak:

* that synth that comes in at around 00:20, is a bit too bleepy for my taste.
* all along the track you have a huge peek between 16 - 20 khz (not sure about the exact point) and those freqs are highly disturbing for the ear. Trust me, try and find the sound that causes the problem, and cut those freqs out of it.

other than that, as i already said i love the energy in the track and the theme is very nice.

looking forward to hear more.

Love the progression. Sound quality is nice. Think the percussion should be sorted out though. Strings are very epic. Aah, that dam main synth, don't like it. Need some osc to smooth it out.

Like the potential of this. Quality production.
