Classic Virus Rack

I am thinking of buying a Virus Rack Classic, for about 750,- Euro.

My questions:

Has the Virus Classic Rack got an Unisono function ?

Can someone send me some links / demos , where I can listen to some trancy virus sounds ( I already tried www.access-music.de and Vengeance ...)

the classic is the same as the virus b. it only costs more (because it's red? :P )

but yes, it has unison up to 16 OSCs per voice..

I think he's referring to this:

This is a Virus RACK Classic.. what you where talking about, thecYrus, is just a Virus Classic..

I had a Virus Rack Classic for a few months.. it's just as capable as a Virus B.. that 3rd OSC really doesn't do much.. and yes it has unison.. can do up to 16 voices of unison, i believe..

only reason that I don't have it now is becuase the 4 knobs sort of drove me nuts but it really wasn't that bad and the menus are very easy to get around..

ehh you're right.. i didn't read the "rack".

but here's the spec sheet.. http://www.access-music.de/comparisonchart.php4

but seriously why don't you buy the virus b for ~50€ less? i just sold mine for 700 € and i think it has some more features and also some more knobs!

The sell a new Virus Rack Classic for 700 Euro, which sounds quite to me. They don't have a Virus B or C. Can use the patches for Virus B and Virus C within the Virus Rack Classic ?

it should be possible to load the patches into the virus rack classic, but it won't sound exactly the same because of the less features.

but i would still prefer a secondhand B over a new virus rack classic.

a Virus Rack Classic does sound nearly exactly the same as a Virus B.. that 3rd osc really doesn't do much since it isn't part of the unison...

but for me, the 4 knobs thing sort of sucked.. but a Virus Rack Classic goes for about half what a virus B costs.. so maybe it's worth it if you're low on funds

third OSC, more polyphonie..
beside those features i would prefer it because it has the much better interface. 32 knobs, 31 buttons and 61 LEDs. it's just more fun to program patches..
