what is this for? is it a common for dj's to use this?

many keybaords nowadays are samplers too, and once setup with what you want, you can hit a key and it'll play an entire sample clip... maybe 32 bars of 4/4 kik or and endless 4/4 kick, or also 32 or more bars of snares & hihats. you can also sample from the mixer and re-use it , by the tap of a key
