screw plastic wrapped sealed vinyl. it's made by the 10,000's. Give me a origional whitelabel pressing.
I got many whitelabels like bt-never gonna come back down hybrid unreleased mix from 99', Robert Miles' Children, and lots of other good obsceure tracks that arn't even marked w/ identifying marks (even on the inner groove there's nothing written or just the person who pressed it)

well a looooot of my breakbeats are records most people wont be able to find after they are gone because most of them are like bootlegs or remixes, and hardly any of them are ever pressed in quinity like 10,000 ha ha so i see it as my track selection is what counts though i have opened some of the sealed ones just kept the plastic rap on it

i have about 3 copies of ATCR in demand and unreleased ep #4 - two of which i'm trying to sell to fund further record purchases, i know it's totally mercenary but other than that i don't really see a reason to keep two copies of a record.

I hate to break it to you guys but the majority of dance music isn't really worth anything in the collectable sense. perhaps one or two things but the whole nature of the industry is that of supply and demand, if lots of people want it then it will be available.
Sasha - Xpander EP is definately not going to be worth anything in a hurry as you can still get copies of it now and just about all the DJs I know including a lot on the forum have a copy.
White labels are a tricky business as they are hard to see if they are bootlegs or not without the right catalogue numbers.
If you really want to start making money off records then start collecting beatles or stones records. Look around in charity shops etc.
It's a nice thought that ones collection might be worth something but the truth is a record is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

I never really cared for rare stuff actually.
I do have some records floating around that are asked for quite a lot (Cosmicman - I Love You, Gouryella - Gouryella, System F - Out Of The Blue, etc..), but i won't ever sell those anyway.

I have a copy of Led Zeppelin - II. One of the first presses, without barcode. Sealed.

He's right that Led Zeppelin is probably worth something. I could plastic wrap something if I really wanted to, its not very hard. You get some shrink wrap and a blow dryer or a heat gun.

And then be very, very carefull not to heat it up to much, because that would kill the vinyl...

What do you think they do to seal it in the first place? I used to screw around with the shrink wrap machines at Blockbuster while they weren't paying attention. It doesn't take very much heat.
