plus he's fucking hilarious.. I heard that after the first season they told him to cut down on the drinking and smoking in the show..

I just saw him perform stand-up live last Tuesday. It was hilarious!

You can definetly tell that in some episodes he just has a few drinks here and there and others he gets absolutely smashed (I like these ones better). Great show, he has one of the best jobs ever.

Some myths I read about Insomniac in a magazine:
-Each show is actually shot over a couple of nights, not just one
-The original cameraman was named Brian but they have since changed cameramen a bunch of times but still refer to him as 'Brian'

i love that show. by far one of the coolest shows on TV.

i love Dave's random humor - like when he was in a piercing parlor and this guy is hanging from the ceiling by his nipples and Dave just turns around and picks up a box of cookies and says "hey look, they have Lorna Doones here!"... or when he is walking out of a kinky sex club and he says "and they have pineapple!" and takes a bite out of a slice of pineapple. that shit just cracks me up.

One of my favorite shows. I don't get to catch it much, but I'm glad when I do. No one will ever be able to convince me that they have a better job than Dave Attel doing Insomniac. Get paid to stay up all night drinking and smoking.
