Is there any free programs out there that let me use my CD-RW drive like a Hard Drive? What I mean is....
I am looking for something that lets me open an Excel document from the CD-RW, alter it and then use the Excel save button and it automatically overwrites the file on the CD-RW with the new updated one (mimicking a hard drive) |
UDF Format. Go search how to do it on Internet. Creates a CD-RW which acts like a big damn floppy. Would not adivse much time and investment in doing so though, since it's old technology. I used to format CD-RWs like that myself in the past, but now with Jump Drives, what's the point. I can load 512mb rewritable all day long on a little stick for under $30 and it seems to last like forever (haven't had one fail yet). Faster and more convenient, just stick it in your pocket, on a keychain, etc.
