That game is freakin insane. If you've played Medieval Total War, you'll be blown away when you see Rome Total War. Go Buy it now, seriously.

R-TW is totally awesome !!! Its strategy game of the year...and the best RTS+Turn based game combo ever.

Generally it's a good game.

Some things are really stupid though. Needs further patches to balance things out.

Worth getting, if you're into these types of games.

I can't get it to work anymore. For some reason it's very choppy and slow on main game screen. So yep. No more R:TW for me.

I captured the 50 regions as a Julii and game ends at that point. Then you can start a new campaign with any of the other civilizations - (only those that were annihilated in the earlier campaign) - !!!
thats it mostly...!! new civilizations = different strategy to fight wars. But except roman I dont think any other civilization has senate or senate missions. Family tree etc grows kinda the same way. Though the game music and battle speeches change !!
Has anyone who has played the game figured out if we can have more than 20 unit battalions (cards) in one group. Having max. of 20 restricts the number of units you can have when figting a war I want huge number of soldiers hehe

well, the game is fun and challenging if your not on easy. it NEEDS patches , it's hard to control a city without people rioting eventually and etc. i suggest you get it and wait for patches, then it will be worth it.

and no it's not like age of empires . alot better .
