absolutely insane

so i get there at like 12:15 becuse im a retard and im not paying attention while im driving so it takes an hour to get there instead of 20 minutes. anyway find parking a block away in front of some brownstones, nice area. we get to avalon and get in within 10 mins, they werent holding up the line that much they were just letting like 20 people in at a time then waiting until they got searched and were buying tickets so it didnt get crowded. 25 bucks to get in, not bad. so we get in and thers some live band playing on stage in the house room, so i go to explore the club more cus last time i was there was for darude in march, and i got lost, lol. we end up in the hip hop room and were like fuck this. one of our friends from highschool was a bartender there so we look for him but we cant find him anywhere so we go back and decide to watch the band for a while. the band ends and draper comes on, marco v isnt there yet. draper opens with my my my then plays the fuzzy hair remix of the song thats like "cus i got the pills" then i see marco v walk into the dj booth, at this time were on the 2nd balcony. im like yo lets go behind the dj booth i think u can. so we do and i see marco v sitting on the couch so i tap on the glass and wave hi and he waves hi too then comes out of hte dj booth and says hi to me and my friends. were talking for a few minutes. lol he talks funny he doenst know a lot of english. so we chill with him for say like 5 minutes then he is like ok i gotta go on now. he pops in his intro cd and tries to get to know how to use the turntables, it was funny watching.


so marco v is on. he starts off a little trancy, at like 1pm, im liking it though. by 2:15 he is fucking hard though. shows by Rafi were amazing, lighting was insane. i seriolsly havent seen lighting that good since JP at black when revlon did the lights for classics. my friends were even commenting about how on the lights were they were perfect with the music. marco v was fucking nuts, my friends had never heard him before and the whole night they were like what is this guy doing he is tearing it up. he went into a little hard trance at around 3, then played that nancy sinatra song bang bang, everyone was going bannanas. after that it was pure HARD HARD beats until we left, we had to leave early though cus of work and stuff, but thats alright it was well worth it.


i asked him to play ricky fobis - no regular but he said he didnt have it with him

one thing that i thought was sick about him is how he doenst care if you share his music. he was like oah how do you like me i was like your awesome i downloaded some of your livesets. he was like yeah go home and download sensation or innercity 2000 i think i played the best then.

overall the night was insane i really with a bunch of people came out for it. i really think that it was one of the best nights i had clubbing in a while. i really hope marco v comes back soon. and i think that i really and starting to like hard trance a lot more i really wanna see him in a place with a much better system next time. the last time i saw him was at sound factory and when he dropped godd i was about to loose my mind. he played much better last night but the only bad thing was the system.

it was awesome to see marco v up there having a blast he was dancing around and it showed how much he was really into it.

the crowd wasent bad at all either not to many asians except in front of the stage, a lot of people there were there for the music it seemd, they all knew all the marco v songs and were going crazy when they came on. when he played the nancy sinatra song he was looking out over hte crowd and i put my arms up in the air and he waved to me, it was kinda cool.

if anyone wants to post a tracklist of what he played that would be great. i knew like 10 of the songs that he played maybe but not all of them.
