New Tracks - Feedback is loved!

I just added two new tracks to my playlist.

"Mind Blowing" and "Speechless"

I am trying to learn and get better, so all your feedback is appreciated.

Speechless:
- catchy bassline, sorta like "King of Snake" by Underworld. gives the song a very good groove
- the trancy elements seem a little out of place for the house-like intro, though they work out ok
- breakdown doesnt really flow to well, though pretty good melodies in there
- again, no snare and hi-hats are kind of on the down low. percs too.
- the melodies get repetitive. the bass is repetitive too, but its 'good' repetitive

Mind Blowing:
- intro is nice and hard, sounds pretty good
- percs are really cool sounding, fit nicely with the song
- this one has more of the prog. house feel, but is overun by those sawtooth synths like in previous track, i don't think it combines too well

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I appreciate that you broke down each track.

With the track Mind Blowing I was trying to do some type of tribal trance, that where the percussion came from.

Hi Lombardo!

SPEECHLESS:
Funky bass!! yes! I love it...
Your percs are cool.. nice & skippity giving the song momentum.
You do a good job building intensity.
I'm a sucker for the housey sound you had at the beginning and would love to see more attention focused on the bass and percs, and less on the saw synths - but that's just my personal preference!
Overall, very cool energetic track.

MINDBLOWING:
I like the variety in percussion, though I think certain elements are too loud, like the toms.
Your sounds are good, though the saw is a bit over used.
Good groove going in this one.

Overall, I like Speechless better, cause of the bass! I'd love to hear you explore your funky side a lil more!

Keep up the fine work,
Trevor

thanks guys for the review. Atleast the feelings are kind of consistant with peoples opinnions. Thats good.

Sooper, I love the funk and groove of music. Probably because I have been playing bass guitar all my life.

Thanks again fellows...
