NY TA In Munich
Hey hey all.. I'm an NY TA and it looks like business is going to take me abroad to Munich for almost a week, including next weekend (the 26-28). I'd love to get an idea for what's going on then (especially anything on Saturday/Sunday) and perhaps hit some events or meet some TAs out there. I'd of course love to play some choons, but hey, I'm not greedy. Just would be happy to meet some good people who listen to good music and have a good time.

well i think i know why nobody gives any replies here... it's because unfortunately there is no "trance" event in munich on that weekend... at least none where you would meet some gtas or the like...
you're gonna miss the session de la trance on november 24th and you're too early for december 1st...
you're gonna be too early for the TranceAtlantic on December 3rd...
they're both not the biggest events around but those are the gta "regulars" - kind of...
you could meet most people if there was any big event like pvd or ferry but there's nothing on schedule 'til next february (if i remember right)...
i'm sorry for that bad perspective - but that's munich...

hahahahaahah... yeah, it seems I'm ending up there on a very uneventful weekend, unfortunately. Oh well, c'est la vie. I'm sure work will bring me back some time in the not too distant future, hopefully on a weekend where something is going on. Spoke to a local friend while out last nite, he gave me info on a beer garden that I think I'll end up checking out. Thanks anyways tho

hhahaha... well, I'll stay inside at the beer garden. haha Appreciate the links. It's unfortunate there won't be much in the way of trance next weekend, but I'm sure I'll be able to find some other things to do. Friend of mine last nite said Munich is one of his favorite places to travel to, so I'm really looking forward to it either way.

Well, a beer garden is called beer garden, because it's a garden *g*
maybe he meant the Hofbräuhaus?

ahahhaha.... fine, fine, you win. I should prove my point by getting a beer and drinking it in a garden, but I think that's going a tad far... That sounds like the name he was saying -- I had already had a few by that point, so I wasn't in the clearest state of mind. Looks like I will have Sunday for myself, anything non-touristy that's worth checking out? Have only been to Berlin, which I've been told is completely different from Munich. Any decent vinyl shops?
