By rating Software, means you used them all, know them all, and can really compare.
I know Reason well, but don't know Cubase and Logic, so ya, Reason number 1 .
seriously, enough with these topics. |
Actually, low budget, no musical background. But, I'm really interested in sticking my nose into production. I just (finally) bought a computer that I can run programs like (FL, Reason, etc..)
I have a midi keyboard and alot of time on my hands, so, I'm ready to start exploring production and would like to start in the right place. I'm not a computer genius so, I'll never go anywhere trying to learn four programs at once.
My top 4 was random, and meant to stir up opinions. Sometimes the best way to get people's opinion's out is to show an opposition. I don't want to her the talk about, begin with this, then move to this, than move to that. Fuck that.
I'de rather just start with the best and take a little longer to get really good at it.
SO, DON'T ASSUME EVERY THREAD IS JUST B/C SOMEONE WAS BORED AND WANTED TO KNOW IF HE COULD THINK OF A GOOD THREAD TOPIC.
I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT YA'LL THINK!

I'd probably start out (again) with FL Studio if I could. Cheap, easy and still capable of LOTS (proved by producers like Ozgur Can, Re:Locate/Octagen etc).
Not only cheap, but you can get lots and lots of VSTs for free as well.
