Ivan De La Pena: former Barcelona star with the world at his feet at one point. Still an enigma to me what happened to him.

Jordi Cruyff: Imploded and disappeared.

Phillipe Albert: Former Belgian/Newcastle star.

Ivan : because of van Gaal he didn't want him in his team anymore

Jordi Cruyff : he didn't deserve to play for Barca , thanks daddy for helping him tho !

Regardless of his exit from Barca, you would think a player of his skill, potential and youth would warrant a first team place on any major European team. Granted he did win the Serie A with Lazio (under Sven) but I believe that was more of a bit part role.

He was quite decent from what I remember... had a pretty good Euro 96 with Holland and a decent time with Manchester United. Not saying he was a world-beater, but I dont recall any terrible mistakes he had made to warrant such a rapid decline in fortunes.

lol, good to hear he's still alive So he must have been on a wane when he came to Newcastle (I was too young to actually remember his age)- in which case it took him a while to hit the big time!
