I hear that it's more expensive for the ammo than the actual gun, since the type of bullet needed for the AK-47 is no longer produced in large amounts (as it had been during the era of Soviet Russia)
I'd go for an M4A1, since it uses standard NATO ammo 
It's a better gun too
