in most cases its not possible but if you have an instrumental version of a track and the original version of the track you can line them up in soundforge and reverse the polarity of one of the tracks (otherwise known as putting it 180 degrees out of phase). all frequencies in opposite phase cancel out leaving you with the only the vocals.
this doesnt always work because...
vocals commonly have phase modulation effects (flangers, phasers, chorus, certain types of stereo delay) on them or use effects like reverb that alter the phase of a sound. if vocals have alot of reverb on them phase cancellation wont work. this is the only reliable method of taking vocals out of a track unless you have access to the pre master from the artist with the original vocals. you cannot use kill switches/parametric EQs/free filters to kill or reduce the presence of frequency ranges. just try it - you will know instantly why this isnt possible - all instruments in every song share at least some presence with every frequency in the audible spectrum (and in many cases some in the inaudible ranges). so called 'vocal removers' do not work effectively for the purpose of ripping vox out of tracks. most of them dont work reliably or at all in some cases.
the short answer is - in most cases it simply isnt possible to remove the vocals from existing tracks. sorry but if theres not an accapella available for it then chances are you wont be able to get those vox.
