its starts hard and then gets a tiny bit more chill..then hard again... then it starts to slow down around around track 17, but still has some pretty bangin tracks.

is this a bad way to program a set? i mean does it have to all be about the energy of the crowd? the tracks fit great together, i just dont know about the whole flow, overall.

all comments are appreciated

Is this tracklist for a demo or a live set?

If it is for a live set, you are doing it all wrong. Live sets can not be programmed. Live sets are played "on the go", wich basically means you have to play what the crowd wants to hear, not what you have programmed three days before.

If it is for a demo on the other hand, why don't you just start playing the set or the transitions you have your doubts about? You will then easily pick out the transitions that don't work well.

Once again, it is a bad idea to program a live set. I'd rather hear a set that really serves the crowd, than a set that is programmed all the way and sounds great, but doesn't do anything to the crowd.

yeah that's true to an extent...

however it's ok to have strings of 3 or 4 or maybe even 5 records in your box that you like to put together

otherwise though yeah you've gotta serve the crowd- that's your job!

Yeah, I forgot to add that... Thanks.

Some records just seem to be made for eachother.
