good melodies. production quality requires a lot of work keep it up

oh and btw, being too confidant about the quality of your tracks isnt a good thing. try and be objective

Thanks for the advice.

I was just trying a bit of over enthusiasm to get people to listen!

When you say about quality of production, how might I improve it?

I did a mixdown using only a mastering limiter (Voxengo Elephant) on the main output, and then put it thru T-Racks.

When you say "trancey" and "breaks" together in a sentence it means I am required to download it

I'll be back with comments after I've taken a shower...

Commenting as I listen...

The hihats are too loud in the mix, quiet them down a notch.
You don't seem to have a bassline in here at all.

Nice melodies but the synths you used sound very generic. The pad is too "sharp", and softwarey sounding.

You definitely need to rethink the structure of this track too, the breakdown is like 2 minutes, it's just too long.

Oh! What is this? Why does the tune completely change after the break? That cheesy synth doesn't work at all and the switch from breaks to 4/4 came completely out of the blue...

Right, well, currently I feel you have two separate tunes here. One is the intro and the other is... everything else. I would had loved to see the breaks theme developed more instead of turning it to a 4/4 track, it seemed kinda forced. It would be wicked with some wicked old skool breaky goodness. Break out those 303's and 808's

Thanks a lot!

That's definitely put my thinking cap on.

I'm gonna definitely think about the overall impression more. And sort out the sounds.

Cheers for the advice all, now on with the next track!

- Piano melodies are good.
- Those pads in the bg are nice, but like already said, need to be using a different synth
- The rest of the song is pretty average, you should incorporate your piano througout the track more.
- That snare sound needs to go.
- Those chord plucks should be subdued a bit, and overcome by nice pads.
