problem getting laptop in mixing area!

i am going to start mixing with mp3s and vinyl because i have a laptop now.

i was wondering where i could find an indepth conversation about how to do this because i am eager, i already have rca to line in on my laptop to play music onto the mixer board

now i want to figure out how to take the sound from the mixer board back to the computer (traktor) .. if anyone could please help me out with this problem, i'd greatly appreciate it.

i am using traktor 2.5

The easiest solution would be to get something like FS or SSL.

If you are looking at the laptop as basically a Mp3-Cdj, then just run the line out from the laptop into the mixer. If you want the laptop to just serve the mp3 files, go w/ Final Scratch or Serato Scratch Live (as mentioned in the post above). The latter would be the better if you are planning on playing in clubs as you wouldnt need to hook up to touch the mixer as some clubs don't let you do that.
