Who here can cook?

I'm not talking being able to make toast, cheese and macaroni, anything that goes in a microwave or anything requiring only 2 ingredients.

I'm talking real cooking.

I love to cook.

I really enjoy cooking some traditional Hungarian dishes, some pasta dishes, mexican yummy, thai curries, indian, killer bbq steaks.

Any favorite recipes out there?
What do you cook when you want to impress?

Do you prefer bland, or spicy, or a particular nationality of cuisine?

I cook...mom taught me well.

Big game and fish...I'm more of a Grillmaster, but I also specialize in Iron Chef style cooking.

Specialties are rubs/sauces for steak/ribs/burger, I can cook halibut ~400 ways, and I make a wicked Salmon Roulade/Brogulet

My full freezer comes in very handy.

...better stop talkin...gets me hungry

I can kinda cook, but it needs work...I'm alright at Italian and German food, and people have complimented me before on my cooking. I enjoy it a lot and would do it more, but I hate having to wash dishes so much...

German?

You're into cooking beer, Sauerkraut and airplane-sized sausages?

I'm no hero when it comes to cooking myself, but I've been living away from my parents for about seven years now and I'm still alive, so I must do something right every now and then.

Mostly because my boyfriend's family is Hungarian and stuff, so he taught me how to cook sausages, noodles, cabbage rolls, stews, etc...My father is German also. Oh yeah, sometimes I make Chinese too.

i just love cookin - i mean it starts from watchin all that "cookin like chefs"-shows till the real action [ive got a lot of chefs-technics in slicin and all that stuff - kinda cool to compete with my mom ] ... i am good in French,Italian, Balkan, Jewish [of coz ] and also Asian food...
my current favorites r "lozania" abd "sushi" - yea i actually make sushi at home by myself [bought all that special sushi-stuff lately so...]

most of the time i like to kinda improvise with the food i make im not talkin about full-on-improvisin coz u just can spoil the recept... i just like to add smth that i feel will bring the food sm new taste and flavour...

ps:there is 1 thing i didnt tell ya guys - i cant bake... thats the only thing i didnt learn dunno why but its just not me when talkin about bakin...

ps2:guys who r cookin - do u have some high quality japanese / german knives or just use what your mom use since shes young?...
i know some shops in here i saw there knives for about 150$ for a single - some real quality stuff!...

sometimes i love to cook, but i really have to be in the mood, which is quite rare at the moment.

i enjoy cooking chilli's the best, i like it with a bit of spice (habanero pepper sauce is a must). i also like cooking the odd indian, or a sweet and sour for a change.

my cooking skills are good, but i don't have a wide reportoire

Yeah I like cooking. Normally I just take what I've got add various other things and see what happens (not in a shit way). I make my own pasta and pizza bases (as in from flour and stuff). Good fun and great eating

I love to cook, but I don't do it as often as I should. I got accepted to culinary school, but I chose to go to UofToronto instead :P

Last night I whipped up a sick tomato/vegetable/salmon pasta sauce from scratch. It's my favorite thing to cook!
