OK, im a comlete idiot when it comes to the actual technical stuff with djing equipment, but one of the bass eqs on my pcv275 is loose. Its both easier to move to the +/- (this can be annoying when im used to the amount of pressure i have to use on the others) and it wiggles back and forth, if you just grab the top and wiggle it,while the others dont wiggle around.

Is there any way to make it tight again?
Or is this just regular wear that i'll have to get used to?

Had the same thing happen to my PCV-002...I just ripped the knob off, you can still turn it. Once things get loose it's hard to get them where they won't wiggle around anymore...you could try glue but that'll only be a temporary fix.

If you bought a brand new mixer, the knob probably won't be loose

if its just the knob thats wobbling (as in just the gold bit thatyou can pull off) then you could probably fix it and its not abig problem

if its the pot that the knobs connected to on the circuit bord thats wobbly, that coul be a biiiiig problem, although probly fixable with a soldering iron

(sorry if that dont make sense,its waaaay too early )

Can you pull the gold knobs off pon the pcv275? I'm pulling pretty hard and this one doesnt seem to be coming off...

my brother had all his knobs replaced and resoldered on his DJM-500. Dont know about Vestax, but this is a problem as the djm-500 ages.

mad, how long have you had it? i had mine just over a year and i give it some proper hammer and everything is as good as the day i bought it

if its the pots on the knobs, i think you can get it repaired at a proper repair place where they will just replace the entire knob, it shouldn't cost too much. if you look on the vestax website, or ring the number in the manual they should be able to point you in the right direction. you may end up sending it by courier though..

not sure about pulling the knobs off, but you dont need to to remove the face. just pull off the faders, unscrew the screws on the front and lift it off.
