I've watched them too much
After seeing each episode at least 4-5 times it starts to lose its appeal.
However, for you Family Guy freaks out there, here's some info's for ya.
Family Guy - Season 4 starts airing in the US on July 01 2005. Due to the phenomenal DVD sales of the original 3 seasons, Fox stepped up and renewed the contract. This is the first time a television has been cancelled and then brought back due to post humous sales!
Originally there was talk of a Family Guy movie, but due to the increasing sales of the DVD's, Fox decided to renew the entire series. As a result, this season will contain an actual story arc that was going to be the basis of the movie. Basically this means that some episodes will actually link together, rather than being autonomous productions.
One of Seth McFarlane's projects he began working on directly after he found out about the demise of Family Guy was his latest series, is American Dad. This will start airing also in January 2005, and has most of the same basic comedy principles as the Family Guy. Carmen Electra is even doing one of the voices
In other animated news, the second half of season 8 in South Park has been airing over the past few weeks in the states. They had a week off for thanksgiving and the eps will start up again this thursday.
For those who haven't heard of it, I also recommend trying to get your hands on Drawn Together. Its a new 'reality show' cartoon that puts a bunch of different cartoon characters together in a 'Big Brother' style reality show. It's got the same sort of extreme/shock value humour as South Park and is extremely funny. There's only been 4 episodes aired so far, and hopefully it will be a long running series. What hilarity can't be found in a house with a horny superhero, a foxy black chick, a princess, a smart mouthed pig, a pokemon, a gay video game character, a 1920's betty boop and a guy who can pull anything out of his butt?
This has been a public service announcement from your local cartoon fanatic.
