Virtual dj timecoded vinyls in action !

http://www.virtualdj.com/download/v..._dj_getdown.wmv

You can do this for around $300(soft+usb-audiocard+vinyls).
I have this and I can tell you that it's also perfect for long mixing.

Not bad. Software looks a bit cheesy but obviously that wouldn't mean it performs bad. Looks pretty nice for $300!

Do many of you DJs who use things like this and FS and SSL etc still use many actual vinyl tracks?

My question is that, what if we bring laptops around with virtual DJ, how are we supposed to gound the tables to the laptop?...and is it safe to ground to a laptop?

I'm not expert but I'm convinced that it's not a problem. I ground my TTs to the card and I never had a problem, (100% quality timecode signal).

with a non asio sound card, the latency is big but you can cue & mix perfectly.
