feedback - Warrior - IF (ITMB rmx)

hey guys and gals sup????

after a long long time (precisly 1 and a half years) i finished my first remix and handed it to Mr.Matt Darey (to help me etc....)

I was wondering, if people can give me feedback...?

tis my FIRST remix - its not great (dont think anyway) - generally the feedback was good and some people said they would spin it in their set (no idea how they came to that conclusion)

I agree - percussion is simple - took me some time to do! if this is what your feedback is also - please tell me how to improve the percussion

dont know if this direct link works:

please give me friendly feedback

Thanks

ill try my best to write a descent review

I like the beginning.. reminds me alot of good old trance.. I love the clap.. first hat is cool.. i dont like the first part of the break.. but when the lead comes in its kinda cool.. u should add more percussion when the tune kicks in after the break.. sounds too empty.. love the lead sound though.. and please swap the kick-roll with a snare rolls.. kick rolls doesnt work that well most often.. and i think u should only have one break down in it.. and fill the percs up more.. lower or lose those close hats..

oldshchool work.. not bad..

ah wow! the admin of the site took his time out to reply thanks!

i agree about the percs - i need help on that and im glad you found the intro etc.. more of old trance - since that is what i was aiming for!

the breakdown hmmm - the reason i put in 2 was because - that is what the orig track had however its a different remix altogether - in terms of the samples and structure etc...

if you do produce - then please - feel free to pm me to help me improve the percs!

thanks mate - glad it was a good feedback

You've come a long way since early 2003 on t.nu. This remix is actually pretty solid, I agree with Subtle on pretty much everything. Keep at it man, glad to see you finally got your hand around trance and did not give up.

it sounds more of a recreation than a remix

apart from that i cant really add much to what has been said already. string/pad section is cool, my fave bit of the track
