Al Azar - Forever Forgotten (2004 Update)

Seeing how the current trend seems to be updating old tunes (Mart ) I thought I'd post this one here as well.

Al Azar - Forever Forgotten (2004 Update) (7:37, 112kbps, 6.1MB)

This is our only track that follows the "epic trance" formula... massive breakdown and build with all the power directed towards the lead synth. This update doesn't really differ from the original that much, it's just brought to our current level production wise. I was never fully satisfied with the sound quality of the original and I guess we can finally say we've gotten it to sound the way it was supposed to sound in the first place

Anyways, hopefully you'll enjoy it.

-Nik & Mart

Remedy hasn't really been a priority for us, to be honest. We're currently working on a new track, maybe after it's done we'll get back to Remedy and see if it needs updating... but to be honest we don't really have any idea about what's going to happen to it.

luckily it doesn't differ from the original one. What a great tune . Already became an instant classic for me!

btw, when will your new track be finished?

sounds nice so far, just at the build up at the mo. i think this has a very good drive, and to compliment the drive of the kick and bass, some extra percs thru out the whole buildup could really work, just some quiet but really rolling hats for example. but they do pick up again later in the build up so ill shut up about that :P i dont like that breakbeat.... the clap is far too quiet at that part. i think if your going to use a breakbeat it would much better with a different kick sound and a different clap/snare to the rest of the piece. At the break now, sounds very nice, maybe it drags on a bit at first, but once the synth comes in, the melody easier to follow. Its just a very long melodic loop which at first is hard for me to try and follow, but like i said as it kicks off its really nice The good thing about using really long melody loops is that they rarely sound repetative, and so they dont get boring, but also, the mood can be varried alot, and thats been pulled off very well here i think. As the melody progresses, it portrays different feelings, like excitement, happiness, posibly danger! its cool how it does that. really nice tune anyway very well made. keep up all the good work, sounds mint.

Mike
