Good CD's to get, all kinds of electronic music..

I was never a big music fan, dont own any real cd's or even a cd player.. to make a long story short i heard techno liked it more than the rap and everyhitn that is popular hear and since then i'm really into trance.
Not really knowing the difference between the many different genres and sub genres i woudl like to and know what i really like. So fars its trance with vocals but i also have techno and HHC.

What i would really like is a list of some CD's that have different types on it, but a mix from various artists. Like a cd with house from different artists. Please make the lists as big as you can and try to say the exact type of music it is. Any cd is good but i'm looking for ones with various artists.
Thanks, i'm really looking forward to getting some cd's and knowing what type of music a song is.

Hmm...I like the Chilled Euphoria CD mixed by Solar Stone. The type of music is chilled or ambient. Some other good CDs to check out would be DJ Tieto's Magik series which is trance.

thanks, i'm making a list already.. i liked GateCrasher, the newer one.. it had the Chillout, Dance, and Meltdown CDs which were good.
But i'm looking for CD's that arent so much trance, like House, Techno, anyhitng electronic but trance is good.

thanks again, aslo some older cd's woudl be good so i can pick them up used.

I still need some with various house, techno, HHC, break, jungle, DnB, any dance type compilation cd's. I'm doing this to expand my taste and knowledge is electronic music, so anyhitng is good.
