[techno] Pjotr G - Kohlensaure!

hey peeps,

here's a new techno track of mine.

http://www.whiteroachproductions.nl...Kohlensaure.mp3

The usual percussive ear torturing, you know

I'd like to hear your opinion

Ok, here we go:

I like the effect @ 3:45, sounds really cool.

I think it sounds a bit too dull, too empty. It needs a few more elements to spice it up a bit, if you know what I mean. It lacks a bit of strength and power, IMO.

In Nederlands: Klinkt goed, maar mag van mij wel iets steviger en krachtiger. Misschien wat meer elementen toevoegen om de plaat ietsje 'spannender' te maken.

Other than that: Quality, as usual.

first.. i dont listen to techno..

the usuall techno beat is playing.. for 1:30 minute before anything happens.. the acid thing is good.. try increasing the volume of the -"crash-ride" i dont like the snare.. sound too thin... the kick sounds very tight.. in about 3:00 minutes.. but the snare is taking all the energy out of the track.. replace it with something else.. otherwise.. enjoyable percussions...

the acid is cool, though it seems to be too much in the middle of the mix.

i agree about the volume of the ride. the track is not as powerful as it could be.

other than that, this track is well cool.

- percs are nice, but play around with filters a lot more to add some variation. sorta like in "Filter" by Jan Driver or "Groove Attack" by H-Bomb
- i actually like the snare, but make it a bit louder
- where is the bassline?
- overall, like already said, track needs more energy. a simple 4x4 open hat can help with that.

I had another go at the mix. New file is behind the old link. Reduced snare, gave the kick some more punch, increased rides and ehh generally making it sit better. There is some sort of bassline, it's just not that obvious . It's percussion through a bitcrusher.

I just hadd to check if u did something with that snare..

no..no..no.. the snare needs power.. it sounds way too weak *Imagines a heavy snare*

this is how I would have made it if I were u:

This is what I meant..click or dl me..!

ow....there was never a snare on the 5 and 9....I meant the snare on every 8

there was a clap, but I think it's fine

somehow I expect some kind of ferry corsten - out of the blue remix out of your sample

whoa... different than my normal listening style

catchy, cool stuff, i like, but like said before, i think there's no enough variation in the beginning, same thing plays over and over for like a minute (would be nice if you filtered things in and out to keep it interesting)

I think the overall percussion is a bit too weak for techno, especially the kick. It is perfect for trance, but just not banging enough for techno.

Personally, I thought it was a bit slow... I was expecting some crazy raw techno I've come to expect from you...

I still enjoyed it though
