I would go so far to say, at in terms of their mixers, Pioneer have made a name for themselves by endlessly trying to add more bells and whistles, while other manufacturers have focused on sonic and build quality.
Those Pio effects will get old very fast (I was already sick of them a month in to my mates DJM 500 ownership 10 years ago) but the A&H will last you long time, sound better and the filters and faders are lovely.
I don't understand why you'd have a master fader either. Pot? Yes. Fader? No. Just another thing to fuck up your gain staging, and combined with the fact Pioneer mixers sound like utter dogshit when redlined/clipped, it's not a smart idea. |
yahhhh I can agree with this, I got the djm-700 before, because I felt "I needed" effects....but I got bored with it, I got a xone 42 now, and I can care less about effects
