hit Ctrl+L. That will loop enable the clip. Then you just drag out the right hand side of the clip for as many bars as you want it to loop.
If you're wondering how to open the clip in the Loop Explorer View, try double clicking on the clip. If you have this option checked in your options, it should open up the clip for loop editing. Another approack is to click the little button that looks like a marker crossing a waveform. You can also open the loop explorer from the windows tool bar at the top.
On a related note, congrats on getting the greatest sequencer ever. For more resources, Check out Sonar 4 Power!( I think Scott Garrigus wrote this one as well.) www.digifreq.com (Scotts website, sign up for the free newsletter) Sonar Insider (By Craig Anderton, written for Sonar 3, but will also aplly to v4) and be sure to sign up at the Cakewalk Forums. You can link there from the Cakewalk website. I hope this helps, I know sometimes on these boards, you can't get much info for anything other than Reason and FL. Best of luck.
By athe way, I have all of the above books, so feel free to email me with any questions. I might be able to help.
