Be Cool!

WAy cool beans! but I feel it's lacking organization at certain parts, try re-mastering it, changing a cord or two, and i'm sure you can come out with a hit because the instruments were nice!

hehe sorry

but yea, I would suggest getting a more simple melody with lower notes in it so one can sing along with it. Try singing along with Pulser's 'My Religion', it's one of those crazy tunes you can get everyone going with! I don't know, experiment more with the breaks and high points of the tunes, especially the climax, but otherwise keep it up!

nice kick/upper bass in the beginning.. kick may be too bright though..

the 2nd bass needs a bit more sub bass.. plus the mid-ranged bass doesn't really sound good..

good fx.. synths so far in the intro.. no melody in it though.. sort of stoppes suddenly..

the saw at 2:00 is sort of annoying.. pans way too much..

at 2:16, you start doing the 1/16 kick at the wrong time.. need to do it at the start of a bar/beat

nice pad.. very stereotypical though.. a flute or something cool at top would of sounded nice..

good melody on it too..

arp coming up sounds good, software-ish, but good..

melody is good, it's the same as the pad, but nothing special

sounds just ok when the kick comes in around 4:50.. again.. the 1/16 kick sounds like it's starting at the wrong time..

sounds like ass when the bass/hats come in.. totally lacks..

gets way too repetative..

the track basically falls apart when the arp comes in

Yeah this is what i like...

Long comment....

After listening to it again, agree with u in "the saw at 2:00 is sort of annoying.. pans way too much.."

But "at 2:16, you start doing the 1/16 kick at the wrong time.. need to do it at the start of a bar/beat" <-- will check it again

Thanks for the comment!!

The build up of your track is really nice! It has the dark gloomy feel to it of a lot of the Push tracks or other M.I.K.E productions. I love the percussion effects you use and I was looking forward to the break and main lead.

However the main lead does not have that dark atmosphere of the start of your track. The track goes from a dark feel to a happy feel and that doesn't really match for me. For the rest it is clear that you have the skills to produce good tracks and I am looking forward to other tracks of you!

Good work overal!!

greetings,

Nomen Nescio

Listening...

-I like your intro much from 00:00 to 01:23
-Then it begins to sound a bit bland, you should a bit more melody from 01:23 to the break
-I did like the use of drums though, very moving

Break:
-Nice strings...
-Ok, my personally opinion, when the leads comin, the chord at 04:21 which keeps coming in every other bar, needs to change, it just doens't keep that beautiful melody going.
-Also you may want some more build up to your main sound

Good production work though...keep it up...

hey man this has improved a lot since the first clip you sent me

/// things i like
> very nice groove when the second bass adds in
> even better groove when percs layer come in, well done !
> i think the buildup is really nicely made
> im glad to see you made some EQuing on the low part

/// things i dont like:
> 3:30 strings are a bit thin, seems like you have cut some midfreqs on it.
> the arp melody is kinda basic and nothing surprising, synth is nice tho.

overall i really like the buildup and sounds you used, but IMO the track deserved a less basic main part. thumbs up for the buildup, again
