Well? Really, this album is, as somebody already said, at the same production level as DJ Sammy. Where is the subtle touch? This is, of course, only my puny opinion, but I'm wondering: does anybody feel the same?

But all the melodies are so badly integrated into the songs, all of a sudden they begin -loud- and end. And then there is the matter of bass, this is some of the worst I've ever heard.

To each his own, however. Am I alone on this?

While a lot may sound similar that doesn't make them bad, all producers retain sounds over times. But seriously go and listen to Avenue properly all the way through and it totally goes against that rule

I can't say that I agree with you. OT&B was one of the first albums I really liked straight through. Maybe you're right that the mixing wasn't the greatest ever, but I think the quality of the song songs more than make up any lacking parts there and the flow is good.

I think it's awesome to compare to dj sammy like that... no. The problem with out there and back (and don't try to argue against this, you know it's true) is that it's an artist album where each track has a thumping kick all the way throughout. I was on a road trip and put this thing in and it's really hard to keep your ears on the melody with the same drum samples for an hour. As an hour+ cd mix = not to be listened to that way. Each individual track is awesome, however.

Well true, but he also plays a lot of his live sets in the same fashion
